I have been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan since 2003. I have experience treating children, adolescents, college age students and adults of all ages. I also have experience in providing the following: family therapy, couples counseling, group counseling and substance abuse therapy. I have a background working in private practice, community mental health and non-profit agency settings.

I am experienced in treating a wide range of traumas affecting clients of all ages, including but not limited to various forms of physical, sexual, mental, and emotional abuse, grief and loss issues, car accidents, death and serious health conditions/terminal disease, miscarriages, combat experiences, job loss, etc. I am trained in two different forms of clinically researched trauma treatments called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Brainspotting. With regard to trauma treatment, I like to take the time to help you understand how your brain and body experience traumas, how they hold those traumas and how we can access those traumas to bring relief.

I have experience in treating the following diagnoses and areas: ADD/ADHD, Bipolar Disorder.
