Nicole Fox
Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling, both from Central Michigan University.
She has been employed in non-profit and private sectors and has experience working with a wide range of severe mental illnesses and developmental disabilities. She is comfortable working with men, women, children, families in crisis situations. Some of the symptoms she treats include depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, relationship challenges, self-esteem and image ,issues related to ADHD and life adjustment dilemmas.
Nicole works to reestablish a sense of hope, a major factor in the healing process, using a holistic/integrative approach creating a counseling experience that is a safe place to explore and change. With each contact, it is her primary goal that every person feel safe, respected and accepted.
Nicole also works by partnering with clients to help them through life’s journey, encourage self-awareness, identify challenges they face, explore and understand the source of their problems, provide support concentrating on how to change, resulting in feeling empowered.
She utilizes the client’s core personal beliefs, thought processes, individual responsibility leading to behavioral modification while maintaining integrity, honesty and unconditional positive regard within the counselor-client relationship.
